IT Department of INFOCOM Ltd was created from a group of software development of R&D Department in 2008.
IT Department of INFOCOM Ltd received a competency Data Management Solutions in June 2009. It was changed to Data Platform competency in May 2010.
The main tasks of the department are:
- Enterprise Application Integration (EAI);
- Development of automatic control systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES):
- Automated logistics systems;
- Dispatching of production processes:
- Monitoring of equipment in real time;
- Creation of shift tasks;
- Review of shift tasks in real time depending on the requirements of sales department (for instance, urgent order), equipment capabilities (for instance, failure of the machine), etc.
- Monitoring and saving the history of products manufacturing:
- Recipe (Specification) for manufacturing of each product unit/batch;
- Used equipment;
- Personnel involved in production;
- Monitor critical parameters of production;
- Integration with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Recipe (Specifications) Management System;
- Development of quality management systems;
- Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS);
- Development of Data Centers:
- Computing systems: server clusters, systems with redundant and fault-tolerant systems;
- Engineering systems: thermal system, fire suppression, power supply;
- Consultancy services in IT field.
To meet these tasks our specialists have the knowledge and experience with various technologies and equipment from mobile data terminals to server clusters and systems for hot or cold backup.

Enterprise Application Integration

Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) is a process of integrating of various information systems inside the enterprise.
For this purpose technologies and applications which should combine several applications are used in one organization in a single process, and implement the transformation of data formats between them.
The need to integrate applications usually occurs if the information systems are developed by different manufacturers, and if the number of information systems is rather big so that to implement the integration between each pair requires a lot of resources.
TIBCO BusinessWorks or BizTalk Server are high-performance and scalable EAI systems which allow to arrange information sharing between enterprise information systems, for instance, ERP, CRM, MES etc.
Advantages of EAI implementation:
- Makes information infrastructure more flexible and understandable;
- Allows to unify and simplify the creation of integration scenarios;
- Allows to monitor and control the load on the system and related systems.
