Groupe Danone is a French company, famous producer of dairy products and other food products, with headquarters in Paris.
"Danone" is represented by 8 regional offices and the factory "Danone Dnipro" in Ukraine, which is located in Kherson with a workforce of about 800 people.
Production capacities of "Danone Dnipro" can produce drinking and dessert yoghurts, sour cream, milk, kefir and fermented baked milk under TM "Vesyoliy Pastushok", "Zhivinka", "Activia", "Danissimo", "Rastishka".

A new stage in cooperation with “Danone Dnipro” was a project of the SLS (sewage lift station) and RLS (rainwater lift station) control panel modernization with integration of data into the existing visualisation system.

As part of system modernization, the specialists of "INFOCOM LTD" have carried out works on the development of design documentation and software, refinement of the existing visualisation system, assembly of panels, replacement of electrical cables and also installation and commissioning works.

During project implementation, specialists of "INFOCOM LTD" installed Danfoss and ABB inverters, Siemens (Simatic S7-300) controller, Siemens distributed periphery station (ET200M) and implemented SCADA-based system WinCC (Siemens). Communication between the controller, frequency converters, distributed periphery station and operator’s station is implemented with application of digital bus Profibus DP.
All works on this project were carried out within scheduled production shutdowns in strictly established deadlines.

Successful implementation of this project will let "Danone Dnipro" control operation of SLS and RLS system pumps, which will improve efficiency of production processes and productivity of the whole enterprise by eliminating the possibility of downtimes and thus meet the highest standards of production quality.

“Sirius Extrusion” is a modern industrial enterprise, which specializes in manufacturing polymeric products: PET -preforms for PET- bottles, stretch films and barrier films.

The company occupies a dominant market position in Central and Eastern Europe by volumes of polymeric packaging products production. Almost all the leading enterprises of Ukraine and many other enterprises of Europe, Russia, Central Asia, etc. are among clients of “Sirius Extrusion”.

Because of the planned expansion of “Sirius Extrusion” (Khmelnitsky) production, it became necessary to install additional equipment for silage storage and transportation of polymer materials with further integration of raw materials supply control system to a line of silage stretch film №5 in the existing control system of raw materials supply to silages.

Due to an available work experience in automation sphere, professionalism and affordable prices, the advantage when choosing the contractor for accomplishment of the given task, was given to “INFOCOM Ltd” (Zaporozhye).

During implementation of this project, specialists of “INFOCOM LTD” carried out works on the development of design documentation and software (PLC software, visualization system on the operator panel OP270, the implementation of HMI), supply of complete equipment, and also performed commissioning works on the integration of raw materials supply control system to a line of silage stretch film №5 in the existing control system of raw materials supply to silages.

At the final stage of the project implementation, specialists of “INFOCOM LTD” carried out testing and pre-trial tests.

All works on this project were accomplished according to the schedule and completed on time.

Realization of this project will allow “Sirius Extrusion” to increase production volumes, and also to confirm the leading position in the market of polymeric packaging products.

In the course of work performance specialists of “INFOCOM LTD” have once again demonstrated high standards of engineering service, which is achieved due to the teamwork of all employees.
 

Annually international specialized exhibitions «Machine-building. Metallurgy» and “Casting” are being held in Zaporizhzhya under the auspices of the Ministry of the Industrial Policy of Ukraine. These are the biggest specialized exhibitions in Ukraine, which annually present the novelties of the domestic enterprises and foreign companies in the fields of engineering, metallurgy, energy and high technologies.

In the period from May,17 to May, 20 Infocom LTD took part in the XIX international specialized exhibition «Machine-building. Metallurgy 2011» and the VII international specialized exhibition “Casting 2011” that were held in Exhibition Center “Kozak Palace”, Zaporizhzhya.
The exposition was attended by more than 170 exhibitors, who provided a full spectrum of innovations, technologies, materials and services of modern industry.
In its exposition (photo #1), Infocom LTD presented visitors an imitation of separate technological processes:

• Simulation of conveyor line operation, that uses infrared limit switches and optical distance meter, with control system based on the controller Simatic S7-400 (Siemens);
• Demonstration of Siemens synchronous and asynchronous motors operation, controlled by frequency converters of a new Sinamics S120 series and the control module CU 310DP (Siemens);
• Visualization of technological process using Simatic Touch Panel KTP600 that operated by Simatic S7 controller (Siemens).
Infocom LTD also presented Siemens equipment on the stand, including:
• Sivacon energy distribution cabinet produced under Sivacon 8PT technology (Siemens)*;
• EC&I equipment.

During the exhibition, Infocom LTD specialists were providing technical support and consultations to all interested visitors about products of the world’s leading manufacturers, such as: Siemens, Rittal, Lapp Kabel, ePlan, Abas.
Particular attention of visitors was attracted by the stand which imitated the conveyor line, where the model of a sport car was put on the moving conveyor for clarity (photo #2).
Participation of Infocom LTD in these exhibitions attracted the attention of the publicity and interested business circles. The company has received interesting proposals of cooperation and plans to expand key areas of its activity.

* Infocom LTD has licensed rights on the entire production cycle of 0,4 kV low-voltage distribution equipment for current up to 7400A, Sivacon 8PT technology (Siemens).
